Bonnie Braid brand at the 4mm (.16" or 5/32nds inch) thickness, is a braided polypropylene cord, 100 yards (91.44 meters) length. This cord is most suitable for small to large macramé applications such as rugs, mats, plant hangers, purses, and wall hangings. We recommend using a Macramé Project Board for smaller knotting tasks. Similar to a Bulky (size 6) weight yarn, this cord can be used for home décor, knitting and crochet projects; use U.S. 11 or 8mm needles (for knitting,) or K/10.5 - N/13 or 6.5mm - 9mm hook for crochet projects.
This cording is fusible (melt ends together with a lighter or melting tool). Fuse ends together to join ends or finish without making knots. This thickness can also be spliced together to form hidden knots.
Tensile weight limit is 91 lbs. Test report available upon request.
100% polypropylene.
Made in the USA.

4 mm braid
I have previously purchased 6 mm cord and am still working with it, haven't had a chance to use the new 4 mm yet, although I have used it in the past with enjoyable results. Will be using it to make things for my great granddaughters.!! Very pleased with the fast shipment. Thank you. .................

4mm 100yd 1/16 thk.
I've been buying my Bonnie cord from craft stores back in the 70's before the internet. And then at this site for several years. Alsovarious other products for my macrame. I have never had any complaints as to quality or delivery. I have tried other, cheaper sites. And got what I paid for as the old saying goes. The cheaper cord in some cases had varying colors within the same package, where the color was faded. Also, once in awhile, the cord was not of an even thickness. I believe that my Bonnie craft cord has never let me down.
