Product Overview

Our Thermal Glass Wick Tubes are the standard for rock candle makers.  Glass Tubes are the “burner” for oil candle style lamps.  We supply more wick tubes than any other company.  The length is measured from the collar to the bottom of the tube . Turn decorative bottle or rocks into oil candles.  The tube has a "Buttercup" flare top which rests above the collar  7mm (a little over 1/4 inch).  While the length of the tube may vary based on your needs, the inner diameter of the tube, rim, and flare are typically the same.

Tip—turn a standard mason jar into a beautiful oil candle by drilling a hole in the lid and using one of our Glass Wick Tubes.

Which wick will fit the tube?  Use with our 1376 (1/16”) fiberglass wick (folded in half and inserted from the bottom so that the loop is at the top) or 1284 (1/8”) fiberglass wick.  Smaller size tubes like the ¾” tend to work better with the 1376 wick as the two ends hold the wick better.  Most people choose the length of tube to match the thickness of the rock that it is going through.

Available in unit quantities of 25, 50, or 100 pieces.  Select tube lengths of .75 inch (19.05 mm), 1.25 inch (31.75), 2 inch (50.8 mm), 3 inch (76.2 mm), 4 inch (101.6 mm), or 12 inch (304.8 mm).  Wick not included.

Made in China.

Sometimes I receive a few that have been chipped around the top. But the price is right for these.

I make candles out of granite to sell at craft shows. These are perfect to use with the wicks.
