Here's a fun way to turn a wine bottle into decorative lighting: fill about 2/3 with some liquid paraffin fuel, insert a fiberglass wick and ceramic holder. The wick should poke out of the top of the ceramic holder about 1/8 - 1/4 inch. Allow time for the wick to absorb some of the fuel before lighting. Please note: use a flame protector to prevent fire and injury. Image demo includes fiberglass wick and ceramic wick holder only.
This package contains one ceramic wick holder with one, installed fiberglass wick. This wick measures 8 inches (20.3 cm) long and about 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) wide.
If you're looking to replace the wick, we recommend testing out a Fiberglass Sample Pack. The ceramic holder can be reused.
Warning: For outdoor torch use only. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS. Use only with liquid paraffin oil with wine bottles. Do not fill or re-fill wine bottle when lighted. We recommend using a funnel for re-filling to limit spillage of fuels . Never use gasoline, Kerosene, alcohol, lighter fluid or any other solvents as torch fuels. We recommend that the oil be removed when not in use. Place in a safe container. Never remove the wick or oil when torch is light or hot; the holder and wick must be completely cold before removing wick or oil.
